Prior military instructor and GCCS-J military or civilian experience preferred.The company will provide instructional system development, training planning documentation, classroom instruction, software, and LAN engineering support services for the GCCS-J Training environment. The Systems Administration Instructor will participate as a member of an integrated government/contractor team of technical and functional experts in the conduct of GCCS-J systems administration training, software application support, configuration management support, IT support services, etc.Duties include , but not limited toThe Systems Administration Instructor shall be tasked to support the design, development, implementation, and execution of GCCS-J Systems administration training in the classroom and various sites worldwide that are within the GCCS-J Training Manager's or equivalent's AOR.The successful candidate will enter into GCCS-J Instructor qualification training for all current versions of GCCS-J at the Instructor Supervisor direction. Important: Instructor experience is required.The Systems Administration Instructor will work with Government project leads in identifying the appropriate design and development strategy to meet specific learning requirements; and design and develop training materials to incorporate content changes identified by Government leads and content subject matter experts.The position is contingent upon candidate's ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; thereby, in accordance with Federal Requirements, medical requirements include but are not limited to full COVID-19 vaccination status, except in limited circumstances where a candidate is legally entitled to an accommodation - proof of vaccination required.Experience Requirements:Must possess excellent technical and communication skills to effectively interface with internal and external customers at all levels (e.g., address and provide status to DoD military and civilian personnel, document problems, and communicate with MAG program representatives).The qualified candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of basic computer hardware and software fundamentals, and a solid understanding of basic hardware configurations and troubleshooting techniques; ability to visualize and articulate end-to-end systems solutions.Must be able to perform at an advanced technical level on all phases of applications systems analysis and implementation activities.Education/Training - Requirements:Associate degree or above, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT)Candidate should have graduated an Airforce basic Military Instructor Training CourseCertifications or formal training for: [list applicable systems] (e.g., Solaris, UNIX, LINUX)Clearance Requirements:US CitizenshipActive, in-scope US Government issued Secret ClearancePreferred Requirements:Prior military or civilian experience with GCCS-J, or other related intelligence gathering / all-source data systems preferred.Knowledge of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) published Security Technical Information Guidance (STIG) requirements and implementation/compliance processExperience with Local and Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) architectures, server hardware, system services, and functionality preferred.#LI-WMAG Aerospace (MAG) is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and is committed to Diversity and Inclusion.
