Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized
services at elementary schools in Theodore, AL, serving students
from kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract position spans
the current school year with a start date as early as March 15,
2026, continuing through May 29, 2026. The initial assignment will
be at an elementary school located at 535 Easterling Street,
Prichard, AL, with additional school locations to be determined.
Responsibilities: Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services to
students with speech and language impairments Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) Document student progress and
maintain accurate records Support communication and language
development to promote academic success Qualifications: Valid
Professional License or Educator Certification in Speech-Language
Pathology (one required) Experience working with elementary-aged
children preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills to
engage students and collaborate with school teams Ability to manage
caseload and maintain compliance with school district policies Work
Schedule and Location: Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week
On-site presence required initially; location includes elementary
schools within the Mobile County School District in Theodore, AL
Contract duration from March 15, 2026, through May 29, 2026, with
potential assignments at multiple school sites This opportunity
