Free uniforms Training & development We are seeking passionate,
high-energy, and dynamic individuals to join our team as a coding
tutor (Code Sensei). As a Code Sensei, you will have the
opportunity to inspire and engage students on a variety of STEM and
coding topics. This position would work primarily with our JR
program, ages 5-7. However, based on coding experience, this
position could offer the opportunity to work with our older ninjas
as well, aged 8. Code Ninjas is the worlds largest and
fastest-growing kids coding franchise, with hundreds of locations.
In our dojos, kids, ages 5-14, dont just learn coding-they gain
creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and STEM skills in
a fun, safe, and inspiring environment. Learning to code can equip
children with valuable skills such as problem-solving, logical
thinking, and creativity, which we believe are essential for
success now and later in life. Our programs are developed with
creation in mind because it allows our students to express their
imagination, experiment with new ideas, and have a sense of
ownership and control over their creationsnot to mention,
creativity is the ultimate medium for self-expression, exploration,
and discovery, which are essential to our students cognitive,
social and emotion development. Responsibilities: Guidance &
scaffolding : Because kids this age often get stuck or frustrated,
the Senseis role is to scaffold give hints, ask leading questions,
help them debug, and prevent overwhelm. Facilitate hands-on
learning : Help with robotics kits, circuits, physical materials,
or crafting elements. Ensure safety and supervise interactions with
hardware. Manage engagement : Young kids have shorter attention
spans. Its your job to keep them motivated (switch up tasks, inject
game breaks, maintain high energy). Differentiation : Some
5-year-olds will grasp patterns quickly; others may need
repetition. Youll need to adapt pacing. Encourage reflection :
After a project, guide them to talk through what they built, how it
works, what went wrong, how to fix it this builds metacognition.
Classroom management & safety : Managing small groups, keeping kids
focused, ensuring safe use of electronics, and transitions between
stations are critical. Progress tracking & communication : Record
how each child is doing; communicate with parents about progress,
strengths, and challenges. Knowledge, Qualifications and

in a camp, classroom, or informal educational setting. Strong
knowledge of STEM concepts and principles, with the ability to
effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.

up basic concepts. Must be fun to work with and enjoy working in
fast paced environments where requirements can change frequently.

to engage and motivate campers of varying ages, learning styles,
personalities, and backgrounds. CPR and First Aid knowledge or
certification (preferred but not required). Must pass a background
check. Application Instructions: To apply, please submit your
resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and
