currently hiring for the 2026–2027 School Year for Upper School
(Grades 6–12). This position will begin at the start of the
2026–2027 academic year. Overview: Morris Jeff Community School
seeks English teachers who are committed to the mission and vision
of the school, who will hold themselves and their students to high
expectations for performance and achievement, and who will model
unwavering professionalism at all times. The Upper School English
Teacher provides grades 6–12 English instruction aligned with
Louisiana standards and the International Baccalaureate Middle
Years and/or Diploma Programme. Morris Jeff is an International
Baccalaureate (IB) school that offers an education that is a source
of freedom and possibility for all students, permitting them to
develop their talents fully, become contributing global citizens,
and attain the foundation needed to excel at college, career, and

with students, families, and colleagues Implement Tier One,
research-based curriculum through best practices in planning,

level, the IB level, and other opportunities beyond the school to
continue to learn and grow as an educator in the 21st century Be

qualifications for teachers are: Hold a Bachelor's degree (or
higher) Advanced degrees in education or teaching/content area
preferred Louisiana teacher certification in area of teaching

articulate, and demonstrate strong knowledge of best practices
around teaching, managing, and assessing students from many diverse

heterogeneous classroom setting where all students are held to the
highest expectations and are supported when they struggle
Demonstrate ability to work with and collaborate with colleagues,
parents, and business/community members Reflect on one's
