Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available for grades K-12 in a school setting located in Deer Park, WA. This contract role begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, providing an excellent opportunity to support students in self-contained, resource, and special day classrooms. Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs across grades K-12. Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational teams and families. Utilize classroom management techniques suited for diverse learning abilities. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varied needs of students in self-contained and resource classrooms. Qualifications: Active State License for Special Education teaching. Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Ability to manage self-contained, resource, and special day classroom environments. Strong communication and organizational skills.
