Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide
services at an elementary school setting serving students from
Kindergarten through 5th grade. The position is a contract
assignment scheduled from March 2025 through May 29, 2026, with a
full-time commitment of 35 hours per week. The role is located in
Daphne, AL, and is on-site. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose,
and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in
elementary-aged students Develop and implement individualized
treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and other educational professionals to support student
progress Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy
sessions and student progress Participate in meetings and comply
with all district guidelines and state regulations Qualifications
and Experience: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in
Speech Language Pathology required Must be registered with the
Alabama Board of Speech Examiners Experience working in school
settings preferred Ability to engage and communicate effectively
with young children (K-5) Appropriate licensure and credentials
ready for verification Additional Information: Assignment duration
covers the current school year (CSY) Work schedule includes 35
hours per week, weekdays during school hours On-site presence
required at the assigned elementary school location Pre-employment
screenings and credential verification will be conducted in
compliance with state and district policies This role offers the
