Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary
school in Mobile, AL, to serve students from kindergarten through
5th grade for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position
requires on-site work and offers approximately 35 hours per week,
running from March 2025 through May 29, 2026. Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades
K-5. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to
develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain accurate
records and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in
Speech-Language Pathology. Registration with the state Board of
Speech Examiners is required. Experience working in school settings
is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary
team. Location: Elementary school site in Mobile, Alabama.
