Job Description Job Description Description DRMP's Surveying & Mapping/Geomatics Division is HIRING, and we're looking for a Survey Field Technician to join our Pensacola office. Careers | DRMP Your Primary Responsibilities will include Assist the survey crew with field survey operations on projects Set, hold, and level survey prisms and rods as directed Drive stakes, set hubs, lath, rebar and monuments per project requirements Perform general labor task necessary to support survey operations Comply with all safety requirements Maintenance of Traffic and DRMP policies Maintain a professional attitude and work effectively as part of the crew Learn basic survey methods, terminology, and field procedures on the job What you'll need High School and/or specialized training from a vocational or technical school. Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required. Ability to travel (if needed) Ability to carry and lift equipment as needed on the project. Ability to cut and/or clear brush while establishing survey lines. (machete use) Knowledge of equipment and the ability to set up for various types for different work situations. Ability to hold and proficiently use all measuring devices.
