Shift (8:00am - 5:30pm) * . * The Event Coordinator is responsible
for planning and managing events of various sizes and purposes,
including corporate meetings across the MMS campus. This role will
also assist with occupancy initiatives regarding space planning,
work team layouts, adjacencies and office/ furniture configurations
in order to track and maintain accurate space data at the Airbus
Mobile US Manufacturing Facility and other offsite facilities. Meet

production teams on every aspect of assembly from managing
technical information, quality control, maintenance tasks and
health & safety - along flowlines and flightlines. Join our team

Day to day facility operations: 75% * Establishing and maintaining
relationships with vendors and customers. * Planning event details
and aspects, including furniture set up, room availability,
associated food service and guests. * Processing associated
invoices on time and overseeing budget spend and tracking. *
Managing events and addressing potential problems that may arise. *
Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide
variety of events. * Serve as the main point of contact for FMRE
for vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Manage event
related communication, invitations, and promotional materials. *
Interfaces with Management to develop new opportunities for
workplace solutions to manage headcount growth, departmental
re-orgs, desired workplace changes and new workplace concepts.
Administer or guide occupancy data collection studies. Perform
complex analysis tasks and comprehensive facility planning, e.g.,
opportunity analysis, options development, option evaluation,
pro/con comparisons and provide recommendations. Maintain space
planning and forecasting reports and headcount projections. Acts as
the * project lead to assist in developing furniture test-fits and
workplace usage solutions for multiple departments in a growing
multi-building campus environment. * Assists in migration and phase
planning of large scale occupancy projects. Maintains oversight on
accuracy for all occupancy data in the assigned portfolio. Ensures
planning deliverables provided, meet management’s expectations. *
Other duties as assigned * Analyze and improve service delivery:
15% * Recommend and manage initiatives to increase and improve
service delivery considering both cost and quality - KPI Management
Your Boarding Pass: * Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior
Design, Industrial Design or related field. (Preferred) * High
School diploma with 3 to 5 years of space planning, CAFM, tenant
occupancy programming and facility management services experience.
* 3-5 years experience in event planning, space planning or
coordination. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills. * Ability to work
evenings and weekends as needed. * Communication and Interpersonal
Skills: Events/Space Planning Coordinators are required to network
with a wide variety of entities in the course of their job. * Team
Management: Events/Space Planning Coordinators carry out many tasks
on their own, but a major aspect of the job is working with a team.
Delegating to a team properly and making sure everyone has what
they need to do their job requires team management and leadership
skills. * Budgeting: It is the Events/Space Planning Coordinator’s
responsibility to keep costs within the allocated budget. This will
require a degree of financial skill as well as the ability to
create accurate reports. * Logistics: The Events/Space Planning
Coordinator must possess a degree of skill in logistics to properly
plan the details and anticipate potential problems that may arise.
Physical Requirements: Includes: Lifting, Carrying,
Pushing/Pulling, Sitting, Standing, Squatting/Kneeling, Walking,
Speaking, Hearing, Vision, Manual Dexterity, Travel. Include
estimated time or percentage for each factor and maximum weight for
lifting. * Must be able to traverse office facilities across the
MMS campus. * Vision: adequate to enter and read material on
computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate
greetings, the giving of directions and other business
interactions. * Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in
conversation in office settings Able to hear safety alerts and
warning signals. * Speaking: able to engage in conversations in
person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups
of varying sizes * Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to
20lbs/9kg. * Lifting: able to occasionally lift up to 20lbs/14kg. *
Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas and on the
shop floor. * Licensed to operate a motor vehicle. * Sitting: able
to sit for extended periods of time at the computer and in
meetings. * Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel
to retrieve or replace items * Standing: able to stand for extended
periods of time delivering information. * Walking: able to walk
through office and production areas, around flight line and
airstrips and sometimes on uneven indoor or outdoor surfaces other
