looking for an Aircraft Quality Inspector to join our team based
inMobile, AL. You will be part of the team responsible for the
execution and confirmation of quality inspections as part of the
production process with an emphasis on the aircraft structure and
mechanical systems. *Meet the Team:* The team at the Airbus U.S.

world, along with two (soon to be three) production lines for the
A220 and A320 Family aircraft. On the shop floor you’ll be

Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the
Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320
Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in

inspections in the production process of the aircraft in the
context of the authorization of manufacturer operation * Prepare
and perform visual, incoming, first article, final inspections
during aircraft manufacture for compliance with design
specifications, customers and certification requirements. *
Document the technical inspections performed in the multiple
production orders SAP-based and the relevant SAL-based IT systems
by inspection marks and complete other aircraft documents as well
as prepare first article inspection reports. * Support
troubleshooting, Functional Test Procedures(FTPs) and participate
in Quality Survey requests. * Compile all technical data of
non-conformance in order to launch the NCMS-based quality
discrepancy sheets for the professional assessment in accordance
with the manufacturing engineering documentation. * Document all
the results of the technical inspector in the FLEXNET/NCMS/SAP
based IT system. * Attain skills to perform audits of
Non-Conformance Rework Orders as part of the Material Review Board
(MRB). * Perform audits/reviews of workbooks to validate PV
approval and process adherence. * Track and maintain components
during the Non Conformance process. * Perform other duties as
assigned *Your boarding pass:* *Education:* * High school diploma
or GED. * FAA Airframe & Powerplant License including inspection
authorization is preferred. *Experience:* * 3 years of experience
as a Quality Inspector in an aviation company with an emphasis on
mechanical and/or structural components and assemblies. * Previous
experience in a mechanic or technician role is highly desirable *
Airline experience is desirable *Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated
Capabilities:* * Knowledge of Quality Management Systems. *
Knowledge of drawing systems, inspection plans, and inspection
coordination. * Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods and
tools used in the production line. * Handling and use of inspection
tools of the length measuring techniques (mechanical, optical,
electrical) *Physical Requirements:* * Onsite or remote: 100%
onsite * Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer
screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the
giving of directions and other business interactions * Hearing:
able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office
settings; Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals. *
Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via
electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size
with or without amplification. * Equipment Operation: Able to
operate a wide range of tools and equipment including hydraulic
lifts and arms. * Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to
20lbs/9kg while engaging in training, addressing production issues
or as part of continuous improvement projects. * Lifting: able to
occasionally lift up to 30lbs/14kg. * Pushing/Pulling: able to
push/pull items in office areas and on the shop floor. * Sitting:
able to sit for extended periods of time at the computer and in
meetings. * Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel
to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves. * Standing:
able to stand for extended periods of time delivering information.
* Travel/Mobility: able to travel overseas and domestically *
Walking: able to walk through office and production areas, around
flight line and airstrips and sometimes on uneven indoor or outdoor
surfaces other business interactions * Space Limitations: Working
on jigs at the fuselage at a height of 15 feet. * Able to work in
confined spaces & with respirator. *Citizenship:* * Must be able to
