Job DescriptionDevelopment, coordination and management of all property promotions and special events. Ability to create events that will stimulate traffic flow and increase profitability. Manage and develop all promotional staff.*Develop and communicate promotional and special events schedule for property and interface impacted departments to ensure coordination and success.
*Assist in departmental budget, goals and implementation strategy to create profitability for the property.
*Develop and maintain working relationships with current and potential outside vendors.
Hire, train and evaluate all promotional staff including supervisors and attendants.
*Solicit, negotiate and contract outside entertainment for special events.
Coordinate outside ticket sales and group contracts for all promotional events.This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive. It may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.Qualifications:
Qualifications*BS in Marketing or four or more (4+) years experience in related field.
*Working knowledge of computer programs and software.
*Strong organizational and communication skills.
*Knowledge of gaming regulations and procedures.
*Able to attain state gaming license.
