EnduraCare Acute Care Services (ECS) is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the direction of licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans that help improve patients' mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities in a hospital setting. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with an interdisciplinary team committed to providing exceptional care and achieving the best possible financial and clinical outcomes. Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care to reduce pain and improve mobility. Perform therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and using equipment. Document patient responses to therapy and report outcomes to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and families about appropriate physical therapy methods. Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Assist with patient assessments and develop treatment plans. Knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices. Ability to operate therapeutic equipment. Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks over long periods. Proficiency in maintaining records and writing reports. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Physical Therapist Assistant state license. CPR certified.
