Tulane University Join a Leading Academic Neurology Program in New
Orleans, Louisiana The Department of Neurology at Tulane University
School of Medicine is seeking a Neurohospitalist to join its
growing faculty. This position offers the opportunity to practice
in a vibrant academic environment that values clinical excellence,
teaching, and innovation. The role is based at University Medical
Center New Orleans (UMCNO), a major tertiary referral center and
academic teaching hospital serving Southeast Louisiana. Position
Overview Primary clinical assignment to the general neurology
consulting and teaching service at UMCNO Serve as attending
physician for 26 weeks per year (typically alternating one week on,
one week off) Collaborate with a team of Tulane neurologists
covering the remaining 26 weeks Engage in teaching medical students
and residents, practice-based research, and quality improvement
initiatives Participate in a collegial academic department
dedicated to advancing neurologic care and education About the
Department Tulane's Department of Neurology is guided by a mission

Together with Neurosurgery, the department co-leads the Center for
Clinical Neurosciences, comprising a combined faculty of 31
neurologists and neurosurgeons dedicated to excellence in patient

research, and academic hospital providing tertiary and Level I
