Phlebotomist at Labcorp summary: Phlebotomist at Labcorp responsible for performing venipuncture and capillary blood collections, preparing and logging specimens, processing billing/payments, and providing superior patient/customer service. Role includes data entry, clerical duties, occasional travel to other sites, and adherence to quality and safety standards; schedule is Sunday–Wednesday midnight–10:30 AM. Requirements include HS diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification or training preferred, strong communication skills, reliable transportation, and ability to pass color vision test. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization. Work Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday midnight-10:30AM Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. Job Responsibilities: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred; however, candidates who have completed a phlebotomy training program with no prior experience may also be considered.
