Care in 2015 in Uptown New Orleans and have since opened three
additional locations. We have locations in Metairie, Mandeville,
and Covington. Our mission is to create a place where the genuine

goal orientated individuals as we continue our growth of opening
additional locations to serve the community. We have positions
available for Full Time Nurse Practitioner. You must have the
ability to work 13 hour shifts during the weekdays and 8 hour
shifts on weekends and willing to work at other urgent care
locations when needed. Our Nurse Practitioner works under the
direction of our Medical Director, in the delivery of healthcare to
our patients. Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with designated
physicians and healthcare team members to provide medical care to
patients in the Urgent Care Center. Responsibilities include
delivering the highest standard of care in the diagnosis and
management of a respective population and participating in the
implementation of patient education and clinical support programs
to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum. The
ideal candidate must be a team player, excellent communicator,
proactive, and must also possess the ability to manage time and
stress effectively as it pertains to patient care settings. Job
Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Follows
established guidelines which provide medical authority when such
are indicated in providing Perform complete physical exams and
assessments of patients including urgent, emergent and non-urgent
Select, order and perform tests and procedures to augment physical
Define/document differential diagnoses and list differential
diagnoses with most likely diagnoses Documents orders in the EMR
(Docutap)system for tests, procedures and the implementation and
management of therapies in accordance with medical nursing Perform
diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as deemed necessary and
appropriate for the plan of care, in collaboration with supervising
manager Oversees directs and supports on-site laboratory, x-rays,
and injections, helps if needed Interpret data and diagnostic
results for an appropriate course of action including but not
limited to blood work, radiology, EKG, in collaboration with
supervising physician. Perform such procedures as incision and
drainage of abscesses, simple orthopedic splinting, pelvic exams
and suturing of skin lacerations Notate findings and treatment
course in patient chart including follow-up notes. Required to work
1-2 holidays a year with availability days, evenings, and weekends
to rotate at both locations Job Qualifications Graduate of an
accredited school of nursing with a Masters degree Holds a current
and unencumbered RN and APRN license in the State of Louisiana. 2-3
years experience in Urgent Care, ER or Primary Care SUTURING
(actively suturing 2 plus years) Skilled in traditional nursing
disciplines of patient assessment and care License and
Certifications Current RN and APRN licensure in Louisiana required
Current BLS certification required Current ACLS and PALS
certification required
