We invite qualified providers to become part of our distinguished team as a Locum Physician in Pensacola, TX. Play a vital role in conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, ensuring our Veterans receive the care and evaluation they deserve. Required Skills: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Active state medical license in Texas or eligibility for licensure Proven experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine Strong interviewing skills and physical assessment capabilities Knowledge of Compensation & Pension exam protocols Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience with Veterans Affairs (VA) assessments Familiarity with medical certifications and examinations related to Veterans Prior work in telemedicine or outpatient settings Certification in relevant specialties or additional certifications related to veteran health assessments Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited program At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine or related fields Experience in performing or understanding Compensation & Pension exams Prior locum or freelance medical practice is advantageous but not required Other Requirements: Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Pensacola, TX; local candidates preferred Ability to work on a PRN basis, 2 days per week Willingness to perform both interview-based assessments and physical examinations Availability for quick credentialing and onboarding processes Compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations No requirement for prescribing or treatment; focus on evaluations and reports Valid medical license and any necessary certifications related to veteran assessments This is an exceptional opportunity to enjoy a rewarding role with flexible hours and competitive pay.
