Locum Tenens Hospitalist Opportunity near Pensacola, FL (ASAP - Ongoing) We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician for a locum tenens position near Pensacola, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician looking to work in a dynamic hospital environment with a new residency program launching in 2024. Job Overview: Position Type: Locum Tenens Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Duration: 3 months with potential for extension Specialty: Hospitalist Medicine Shifts Available: Physician: 6a-6p (day) or 6p-6a (night) Advanced Practice Provider (APP): 7a-7p / 8a-8p / 4p-4a Key Details: Hospitalist Program Profile: 14-physician program with APP support Open ICU: 13 beds Day and Nocturnist positions are available to match your preferences No codes or procedures required Full intensivist and critical care subspecialty support provided Support Staff: Advanced Practice Providers assist during multiple shift times Integrated with the new Internal Medicine Residency program starting in July 2024, offering opportunities to work closely with Graduate Medical Education (GME) teams Requirements: Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Licensing: Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Florida medical license before starting Experience: Strong preference for candidates with prior hospitalist experience or experience working in a hospital-based setting Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive hourly compensation Housing and travel assistance provided as needed Flexible shift scheduling Potential for extension beyond initial 3-month contract Why Consider This Role?
