Job Description Urgent Care Physician Opportunity in Thomasville, GALocation:Thomasville, GANearest Major City: Tallahassee, FL 35mPosition Details:Employment Type: Full TimePosition Type: PermanentPractice Type: Urgent CareSchedule: Typical shifts of 10 hours, including at least one weekend shift per monthCall Schedule: No callHolidays: Closed on major holidaysJob Description:Seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified physician to join a well-established Urgent Care team in Thomasville, GA. The team comprises two physicians and three physician assistants, supported by licensed nurses, radiology technicians, and lab personnel.Practice Details:Provide care for minor injuries and illnessesPerform school and sports physicalsOffer on-site laboratory and x-ray services during all operational hoursResponsibilities include: - Conducting assessments and examinations for patients presenting to the Urgent Care Center and during follow-up visits - Educating patients and family members - Counseling patients on preventive health care and treatment plans before discharge - Prescribing medications as appropriate - Referring patients as needed - Maintaining compliance with documentation requirementsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary with potential quality incentivesComprehensive benefits packageGenerous paid time off (PTO)Substantial sign-on and relocation bonusesAnnual education loan reimbursementAnnual CME allowanceAbout the Area:Thomasville, known as the "City of Roses," offers a charming small-town atmosphere with a rich history and vibrant community.
