Job Description Tulane University School of Medicine, Section of
Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, invites applications for a
Board Certified/Board Eligible Palliative Care physician to join
our rapidly expanding Palliative Medicine & Supportive Care
Program. This is a unique opportunity to deliver compassionate,
team-based care while contributing to the academic mission of one
of the nation’s most vibrant medical schools. Faculty rank and
track will be commensurate with experience. Position Highlights
Provide inpatient consultations on a busy palliative medicine
service and outpatient continuity care in a supportive, team-based
environment. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that
includes advanced practice providers, social workers, chaplains,
pharmacists, and nurses. Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and
medical students with protected time for education and scholarship.
Contribute to quality improvement, program development, and
research initiatives across Tulane Health System. Participate in
institutional leadership activities such as Cancer Center
expansion, Academic Excellence Councils, and wellness initiatives

Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
MD/DO degree from an accredited program and eligible for medical

individuals within the University as well as with outside
contractors. Commitment to teaching, mentoring, and serving diverse
patient populations.
