Job Description Job Title: Physician Department: Department of developmental disabilities (DODD) Specialty: Internal Medicine/ Family Medicine/ Emergency Medicine Locations: Mt Vernon OH 43050 Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Duration: 6 months Hours/week: 40 Hours/week Job Summary: Seeking a licensed physician to oversee medical care for residents, ensure compliance with ICF/IID standards, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities: • Provide direct medical care including exams, diagnoses, prescriptions, and documentation. • Order and interpret diagnostic tests; manage medications. • Collaborate with Certified Nurse Practitioners and interdisciplinary staff. • Establish medical policies and procedures consistent with ODRC and ACA standards. • Participate in committees and quality improvement initiatives. • Manage caseload of up to 2.5 patients/hour. Required Qualifications: • OH state Medical License • Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine • DEA Certification • BLS certification
