Job Description:
Description The Respiratory Therapist provides therapeutic,
diagnostic, prophylactic and palliative respiratory care to
patients of all ages and in all units or departments of hospital.
Respiratory Care is provided under the supervision of a physician
Medical Director, Department Manager and Department Supervisor. The
Respiratory Therapist is responsible for documentation of all care
provided in the medical record, maintaining Respiratory Care
equipment and supplies, assisting in orientation of new employees
and following all organizational, departmental, and regulatory
policies, procedures and guidelines.
