Job Description:
Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY The cook is
responsible for the preparation of the meals for the residents and
ensuring that all regulations are met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for meal planning and inventory
control. Responsible for the preparation of daily meals.
Responsible for ensuring that Assistant Director is informed of
daily operational issues. Responsible for ensuring that all
policies, procedures and practices of VOASELA and all governmental
regulatory agencies are met. Responsible for the overall cleaning
of the kitchen. Performs other duties as assigned. ADDITIONAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Non-essential) Adhere to the
designated dress code as stipulated for the specific role.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES: None KEY CONTACTS None KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND
ABILITIES: This position requires knowledge, skills and abilities
equivalent to: This position requires a high school diploma or
equivalent. A proven ability to meet the essential duties and
responsibilities of the position as outlined above. PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS: Work is primarily performed in a normal office
environment generally while seated at a desk. Dexterity is required
to performing work with personal computer keyboard, calculator and
other office equipment
