Job Description Job Description Job Details: Title: CT/MRI Technologist Locations: Metairie, LA Job Type: Full Time Permanent Shift: Day Salary: Competitive Pay Full-Time Benefits Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality MRI/CT scans on patients per physician orders and protocol guidelines. Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality imaging. Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively. Maintain equipment and report malfunctions or maintenance needs. Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.). Provide patient education and guidance regarding the procedure and aftercare. Qualifications: Two-Year Degree is required. Licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current ARRT/CT certification. Knowledge of safety requirements to provide instructions and to recognize and correct hazardous conditions. Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care. Maintains communication and cooperation with radiologists and other ancillary departments regarding changes in protocol, scheduling of procedures, exams performed and patient flow. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public. Excellent customer service skills ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Flexibility in scheduling.
