Job Description Job Description Job Title: MRI Technologist Location: Metairie, LA Job Type: Full-Time Shift: Day Summary: We are looking for a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality MRI scans, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate imaging results. Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols. Position patients accurately for optimal imaging results. Ensure patient safety and provide clear instructions throughout the procedure. Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records. Operate and maintain MRI equipment; report any malfunctions promptly. Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA). Educate patients about the procedure and aftercare. Qualifications: ARRT certification required; current state licensure. 1–2 years of MRI experience preferred. Two-year degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to patient care excellence.
