  • Short Term & Long Term Disability BenefitsWE CURRENTLY DO NOT SPONSOR WORK RELATED VISASPosition: Quality Assurance Analyst IDepartment: Information TechnologyReports To: Software Engineering ManagerFLSA: ExemptSummaryThe Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for designing and implementing a quality control program, creating test plans, performing testing, tracking defects, and creating user documentation for assigned development initiatives. They will assist in identifying risks and problem areas and recommend standards or procedures to improve quality and performance. They will work closely with the business analyst and development teams to minimize defects for all product updates and new releases. The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities. This candidate should be able to work well with others and adapt well to challenges.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneEssential Functions
    • Design, develop, and implement testing plans for products to ensure that all quality objectives are met
    • Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product
    • Document test procedures and scenarios
    • Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
    • Perform product reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors
    • Perform manual and automated quality testing in an effort to identify, isolate, and track bugs within software
    • Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved
    • Compile and analyze statistical data relative to product quality
    • Ensure that user expectations are met during testing process
    • Ensuring that the end product meets requirements, quality standards, and is fully functional
    • Investigate end user complaints and product issues
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
    • Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team
    • Work closely with the PMO team regarding test plans and test results for assigned projects
    • Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress
    • Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations
    • Spot areas for improvement
    • Develop user documentation
    • Evaluate solutions for user experience and make recommendations for improvements
    • Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes
    • Work in a team environment and continually seek to improve processes
    • Responsible for compliance with all Federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)Other Duties and Responsibilities

        • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience and Other Requirements
          • One to three years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control review role
          • Experience in working with a development team on designing, developing, and implementing test plans
          • Experience in working with various stakeholders on performing and validating test cases based on quality requirements
          • Hands-on experience with quality inspection, auditing, and testing of software applications
          • Experience logging, tracking, and monitoring defects and defect resolutions
          • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
          • Experience with automated testing tools is a plus
          • Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira is a plus
          • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
          • Excellent communication/influence skills required, including reports, presentations, and group facilitation skills
          • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
          • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
          • Strong research and documentation skill
          • Must be highly organized and capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently. Must be able to redirect priorities based upon current workload (ability to react to current situations)
          • Demonstrate teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities
          • Must be able to perform all functions independently with minimal supervision in a reasonable amount of time
          • Stay current with emerging technology trends
          • Working knowledge and understanding of financial institution operation and business processes including technology solutions used in financial institution operations is desirableInterpersonal SkillsA significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
