Our client, a leading Life Sciences company , is looking for an Automation and Digital Engineer. This is for an initial duration of 6 months and is located in Pensacola, FL. Job Type: Contract (Candidates must be able to work on W2 without VISA sponsorship) Top 3 skills: · Knowledge of electrical safety circuits category or SIL · Ability to program PLC’s preferably Rockwell · Troubleshoot and commission control systems The Automation and Digital Engineer is responsible for projects to automate and digitalize manufacturing. What you will do: · Use insights from Gemba to identify valuable problems to solve and build cases for automation and digitalization of our manufacturing. · Research alternative technologies to establish state-of-the-art, then design, build and test solutions, working with third-party vendors and contractors as required. · Commission, qualify and validate new manufacturing technologies, managing these changes according to safety, quality and regulatory standards. · Support troubleshooting of existing equipment, identify opportunities for continuous improvements, and implement technology upgrades. · Participate in activities to define and deploy global specifications for automation and digitalization in our manufacturing plants.
