seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Associate Attorney
to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting
opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing legal
advice and support in the area of insurance defense. The successful
candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex
insurance defense matters, including 1st party insurance and bad
faith claims. This role requires a high degree of professional
competence and skills in litigation defense, with a focus on
delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.
Responsibilities: As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your primary
responsibilities will include: 1. Managing a caseload of complex
insurance defense matters, ensuring all cases are handled in a
timely and efficient manner. 2. Representing clients in court or
before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients
or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation. 3.
Negotiating settlements of civil disputes in the best interest of
our clients. 4. Conducting legal research and analysis of legal
problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for
individuals and businesses. 5. Drafting, reviewing, and revising
various legal documents such as wills, contracts, and real estate
agreements. 6. Collaborating with team members, clients, and other
professionals to discuss case details or strategies. 7. Maintaining
up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and industry developments.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Associate
Attorney position should possess the following qualifications: 1.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. Admitted
to practice law in the state and in good standing. 3. Minimum of 2
years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a strong
background in 1st party insurance and bad faith claims. 4.
Excellent litigation skills, with experience in all stages of the
litigation process including trial, mediation, and arbitration. 5.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex legal
issues. 6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and
verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal
concepts to clients and other stakeholders. 7. Proficient in legal
research and writing, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and
persuasive legal documents. 8. Detail-oriented and highly
organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
in a fast-paced environment. 9. Strong interpersonal skills, with
the ability to work effectively as part of a team and to build and
maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
