Job Description:
Job DescriptionEssential Duties/Responsibilities-Responsible for
physical camera installations, camera cabling and routine
maintenance of cameras-Responsible for upgrading, troubleshooting
and maintaining all surveillance system hardware and
software-Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the Surveillance
Video Management System (VMS), IP cameras, digital video recorders,
POE switches, UPS system-Responsible for the maintenance of all
CCTV equipment.-Also responsible for audio visual equipment
maintenance and inventory. -Exhibit conduct in accordance with all
Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and
regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and
procedures-Consistently deliver positive, courteous and
professional guest service in all interactions with guests,
visitors, vendors and co-workers. -Ensure sound and light equipment
is properly set up and working for in house systems as well as for
special events, functions and entertainment.-Maintain personal
responsibility for company property and equipment.Demonstrate
capability to program & operate lighting consoles for both
conventional and intelligent lighting fixtures and seeks to
increase knowledge of new equipment.Ensure all in-house equipment
is in proper working order. Continually demonstrates the ability to
efficiently and accurately wire, plug, patch, and program audio,
lighting, video equipment Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work
environment within area of responsibility.Perform other duties as
assignedRequirements: High School diploma or GED.AA degree in
Electronics preferredOne (1) year surveillance technician and audio
visual experience, or equivalent combination of training, education
and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties
of the position.Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must
have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills are required. The ability to
thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability
to establish and maintain a positive and professional working
relationships with all individuals. Ability to work occasional
overtime and irregular hours.
