This pivotal role in our Charity campaigns will directly involve you in engaging the public, educating them on critical causes, & inspiring them to become active financial supporters. As a Charity Sales Representative, you will immerse yourself in comprehensive training, learning advanced techniques for direct sales within a charitable context. You'll develop expertise in persuasive storytelling, navigating donor conversations, & efficiently securing financial contributions. This training equips you to effectively bridge the gap between community needs & philanthropic support. Key Responsibilities of the Charity Sales Representative Proactively engage with prospective donors in high-traffic public settings, community events, & designated outreach locations throughout Gretna. Present passionate and clear presentations about our non-profit partners' mission, programs, and impact to inspire immediate and sustained financial support. Actively solicit and secure one-time and recurring donations by guiding donors through the entire contribution process. Consistently exceed daily, weekly, and monthly fundraising sales targets, demonstrating commitment to results and directly contributing to campaign revenue. Skillfully address donor objections using empathy, program knowledge, and persuasive communication. Process donor data and financial transactions securely via tablet, adhering to privacy and compliance rules. Keep detailed records of all interactions, commitments, and donations in the CRM or fundraising databases. Ethically and knowledgeably represent Silver Lining Marketing and non-profits with integrity and professionalism. Educate the public not only on the need for donations but also on the accountability & transparency of the charitable initiatives being supported. Actively participate in daily team meetings, sales training, and coaching to share best practices and refine fundraising sales strategies. Use compelling emotional appeals and data-driven impact stories to deeply connect with potential donors. Help set up and take down event displays and promotional materials for fundraising, ensuring a professional and welcoming space.
