Job Title: Invoice Review Intern Department: Finance/Project Management Reports To: Finance Manager or Project Controller Schedule: Part-Time, 15–20 hours/week] Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated intern to support our finance and project teams in reviewing contractor and vendor invoices. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in finance, accounting, or business, offering hands-on experience in invoice validation and financial documentation. Key Responsibilities: Review and verify time and material invoices from contractors and vendors. Ensure invoice accuracy and compliance with project budgets and contract terms. Cross-reference invoices against supporting documentation (e.g., contracts, POs, timesheets). Maintain organized digital and physical records of invoices and related materials. Collaborate with project managers and vendors to resolve discrepancies. Prepare summary reports on invoice reviews and findings. Assist with other finance and administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications: Actively pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Basic knowledge of accounting or invoicing principles is a plus.
