every individual we serve. SUMMARY: Ensure the health, safety and
welfare of the adult residents through supervision of activities,
assistance with personal goals and fulfilling the group home
routine (i.e. meal preparation, daily chores, etc.), as needed. KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be
assigned. Support Daily Living: Provide supervision and assistance
to individuals to help them maintain autonomy, perform daily living
tasks, and engage in the routines of home life. Build Meaningful
Relationships: Spend quality one-on-one time with individuals to
foster trust and connection. Goal Achievement: Support individuals
in setting, implementing, and achieving personal goals as outlined
in their Individual Support Plans. Meal Preparation & Home
Maintenance: Assist with preparing nutritious meals and maintaining
a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment. Budgeting &
Shopping: Help individuals manage personal finances and shop for
their needs. Community Engagement: Encourage and participate in
activities and events chosen by the individuals, promoting social
inclusion and enjoyment. Transportation: Safely transport
individuals to medical appointments, day programs, and community
events as needed. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date
records, including case notes, counseling sessions, health data,
and training logs. Incident Reporting: Promptly report and document
any incidents involving individuals, the facility, or group home
vehicles. Rights & Confidentiality: Uphold and protect the rights,
privacy, and personal information of all individuals served. Team
Collaboration: Attend staff meetings, Individual Support Plan
meetings, and required in-service training sessions as directed.
Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned that
support the overall mission and function of the role. SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty

law enforcement check, Affidavit of Good Moral Character. · Must
pass a drug screen. · Must be 21 with a valid driver's license,
good driving record and proof of vehicle insurance and registration
with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE: Must be 21 years and older Must have 1 year experience
working in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, or child care setting,
or experience working with recipients with developmental
disabilities, or have 30 semester hours, 45 quarter-hours, or 720
classroom hours of college or vocational school Must have a High
school diploma or general education degree (GED LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short
correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small
group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the
organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two
digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
and weight measurement, volume, and distance. REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability
to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
CPR, First Aid, Core Competencies, Zero Tolerance, HIV, and HIPAA
certifications will be required. Medication Administration training
and validation are also required. Employer will provide all
training required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described

continued funding for the service provided. Employee also
understands that Florida is an "at will" State and that all
employees of ARC Gateway are considered "at will". This means that
employment is not for any set duration and can be discontinued by
the Agency or the employee at any time and for any reason. Hourly
Rate of Pay $15.00
