Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support
students in an early childhood setting in Metairie, LA. This
contract position offers a flexible opportunity for both full-time
and part-time professionals with a strong background in pediatric
speech and language services. The role primarily involves working
with middle and high school students, but caseloads may include
elementary students depending on the candidates expertise and
experience. Placement will be tailored to match the SLPs skill set
to best serve the student population. Key Responsibilities: Conduct
speech and language assessments and develop individualized
treatment plans. Implement therapy services aligned with students
IEP goals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other
educational professionals to support student progress. Maintain
detailed documentation of student progress and comply with all
regulatory and school district requirements. Participate in
meetings and professional development as needed. Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language
Pathology preferred. Experience working with pediatric populations
in school settings. Ability to work with a diverse caseload across
elementary, middle, and high school levels. Strong communication
and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff and
families. Valid state licensure or eligibility to provide SLP
services in Louisiana. This is an onsite contract position
beginning as soon as possible with the potential for renewal. The
contract duration aligns with the current school year. If you are
