(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A 1099 contract opportunity is available for a skilled
Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services
within a school setting. This role requires expertise in American
Sign Language interpretation to support effective communication in
educational environments. Location: Kenner, LA Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and clear sign language interpretation for
students, educators, and healthcare providers via telehealth
platforms. Facilitate communication during virtual meetings,
educational sessions, and consultations. Collaborate with school
staff to ensure accessibility and understanding for deaf or
hard-of-hearing individuals. Maintain confidentiality and comply
with all applicable privacy regulations. Prepare and manage
interpretation materials as needed for remote sessions.
Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and
interpreting in telehealth settings. Prior experience interpreting
within educational institutions is preferred. Ability to
effectively communicate complex information in both ASL and spoken
English. Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional
ethics in interpreting. Comfort and familiarity with
