Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the
2026-2027 school year at a K-8 school located in Kenner, LA. This
contract role involves providing comprehensive speech and language
services to a diverse student population within a dynamic school
setting. The opportunity welcomes candidates with an active SLP
license and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), as well as
new graduates eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CF). Key
Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language assessment, intervention,
and progress monitoring for students from PreK through 8th grade.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to
the communicative needs of students. Collaborate with educators,
families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation and compliance with
school policies and regulatory standards. Manage a caseload
averaging between 50 to 60 students, depending on assignment.
Preferred Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist
certification/license appropriate for school settings.
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred; Clinical
Fellowship candidates are welcome to apply. Experience working with
school-aged children, particularly within K-12 environments. Strong
interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively on an
interdisciplinary team. Commitment to onsite work and flexible to
preferred caseload assignments (PreK-8 or 4th-8th grade). Work
