to find a qualified OR RN in New Orleans, Louisiana, 70121! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating

Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience License: Must hold
a current, unrestricted state nursing license Certifications: BLS
required Must-Have: Highly proficient in ophthalmology (adult and
pediatrics) Experience in pediatric orthopedics, pediatric general
surgery, and pediatric ENT EPIC experience required On-call
requirement Description: This position requires the ability to
function as a circulator in the operating room. Candidates must be
comfortable with the expectations of an emergency team assignment.
Specific details about pay for emergency events will be
communicated as needed. Travelers should only apply if they are
comfortable with potential on-call assignments. Unit does not
accept first-time travelers. Candidates must have experience with
patient ratios and charting systems. Preference will be given to
candidates with Trauma Level I or Level II experience. The facility
does not accept local travelers; candidates must be over 65 miles
from the unit. Position requires compliance with all certification
requirements prior to starting. NURSYS reports must be up to date
at the time of submission. Candidates who have worked as permanent
staff or in-house contractors must have a one-year separation
before returning as travel staff. Modules may be required as part
of pre-employment compliance. Candidates should be prepared for the
necessary certifications, as they can be challenging to obtain.
